Ken Caryl Ranch

Ken-Caryl Ranch Master Association manages over 4,800 acres of foothills open space available for residents' use. This includes the Dakota Hogback area and land to the north and west of the Valley. Many varieties of wildlife inhabit Ken-Caryl Ranch open space and are often sighted. Deer herds use the Dakota Hogback as a winter range and move back into the mountain areas during the summer. Turkeys, coyotes, grouse, elk and occasionally mountain lions and black bears may also be seen. Throughout the season, adults, families, children and seniors utilize the paths for leisure, relaxation and fitness. The Ken-Caryl Ranch Equestrian Center boarding and training facility is located in the foothills, southwest of Denver. The scenic tranquility of the Ken-Caryl Valley, the nostalgic splendor of the facilities, along with the dedication of the staff make the Center one of the most picturesque and professionally operated equine facilities in the state.
