Castle Pines is a census-designated place (CDP) in Douglas County, Colorado, United States. The population was 5,958 at the 2000 census. On 2007-11-06, the northern portion of the Castle Pines CDP was incorporated as the new City of Castle Pines North. An election has been scheduled for February 2008 for residents of the southern portion of the CDP to vote on whether to incorporate as the proposed City of Castle Pines Village.
